TIPS TO STAY STRESS FREE..!!!

Stress can weaken your immune system, especially when you have rheumatoid arthritis (RA), making you more prone to colds and flus. So how can you protect yourself besides washing your hands and getting a flu shot? Read on for some clever ways to pump up your immunity, fight off illness and fend off stress.

Bask in the light! Taking in more bright light—whether outdoors or indoors—can boost your sense of well-being and your immune system. Shoot for getting 20 minutes of sunlight on most days of the week. If you can’t get outside much, consider using an indoor light box that provides full-spectrum light, which mimics the effects of sunshine (find one online by doing a web search using the term light box therapy). Mood bonus: Morning bright light exposure can help ward off the winter blues, too.
Why it works: “There are two ways light can help,” says rheumatologist/immunologist Esther M. Sternberg, MD, a researcher at the National Institutes of Health and author of Healing Spaces: The Science of Place and Well-Being. “Being in sunlight or full-spectrum light boosts mood and lowers stress. And anything you can do to reduce the stress response will enhance the strength of the immune system.” Additionally, when sunlight hits the skin, the body produces vitamin D, a nutrient that helps the immune system tame inflammation and speed healing.
Get out and mingle! Spend some time with people you enjoy or in activities with others that you find rewarding. Studies show that the more positive social interactions you have, the healthier you are.
Why it works: The good feelings you enjoy from being with others cause a flood of nerve chemicals and brain hormones that stimulate the immune system to speed healing. Feeling isolated, on the other hand, can hamper your immunity by increasing levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
She also notes that showing compassion toward others triggers a release of hormones that fight infection.

Go “offline.” One should take daily “mini-vacations” to reboot the immune system and de-stress. “Find a place of peace where you can stop, look and listen—and try to go there every day,” she says. That doesn’t mean you have to go outside, either. Take a mental getaway by visualizing a favourite place, like the mountains, and immersing yourself in the details such as the smell of fresh pine or the feeling of sun on your skin.

Why it works: Meditating on anything you find peaceful can help reduce stress hormones that weaken the immune system’s ability to fight infection. “Chronic stress has been shown to prolong wound healing, decrease response to vaccines, and increase the frequency and severity of upper respiratory infections."

Benefits Of Yoga

The benefits of Yoga provide both instant gratification and lasting transformation. In the fitness world, both are extremely important. Too much time with too few results can be incredibly discouraging, and monotonous routines week after week can lead to stagnation. Yoga can change your physical and mental capacity quickly, while preparing the mind and body for long-term health.

Yoga is for everyone

Most yoga studios and local gyms offer yoga classes that are open to all generations and fitness levels. It’s exciting to enter a room full of young teens, athletes, middle-aged moms, older gentlemen and even fitness buffs and body builders. Everyone can feel accepted and included and, unlike other sports or classes that focus on niche clients, yoga tends to have open arms. Whether you like to say "Om" or you can’t stand the word “yogi;” whether you are 92, 53, or even 12, yoga can help you.

Yoga encourages overall health and wellness

Yoga is not just about working out, it’s about a healthy lifestyle. The practice of yoga allows students to be still in a world consumed with chaos. Peace and tranquility achieved through focused training appeals to everyone.
Yoga’s deep breathing and meditation practices help foster an inner shift from to-do lists, kids and spouse’s needs, financial concerns and relational struggles to something a little bit bigger than the issues you face. Yoga helps relieve stresss and unclutter the mind, and helps you get more focused.

Yoga has many faces

One of the benefits of yoga is that you can choose a yoga stylee that is tailored to your lifestyle, such as hot yoga, power yoga, relaxation yoga, prenatal yoga, etc. Whether you prefer you're at home, in a private session, watching a DVD or at a studio or gym, there are a huge variety of options available to suit your goals and needs.
If you are a yoga beginner, Hatha yoga, which focuses on basic postures at a comfortable pace, would be great for you. If you want to increase strength through using more of your own body’s resistance, power yoga may be right for you.
If you are ready for a deeper practice, Advanced Yoga, or Bikram, also called “hot yoga,” may be just what you are looking for. In "Bikram" yoga, the room temperature is set to around 100 degrees Fahrenheit, resulting in greater elimination of toxins from the body through the increased production of sweat. No matter your fitness level, fat percentage, or health history, yoga has a place for you.

Strength training and flexibility

Yoga’s focus on strength training and flexibility is an incredible benefit to your body. The postures are meant to strengthen your body from the inside-out, so you don’t just look good, you feel good too. Each of the yoga poses is built to reinforce the muscles around the spine, the very center of your body, which is the core from which everything else operates. When the core is working properly, posture is improved, thus alleviating back, shoulder and neck pain.
The digestive system gets back on track when the stretching in yoga is coupled with a healthy, organic diet, which can relieve constipation, irritable bowl syndrome (IBS) and acid reflux. Another one of the benefits of yoga is that stretching and holding of postures also causes muscles to lengthen, which gives the body a longer, leaner look.

Dear John: Review

Lasse Hallstrom's "Dear John" tells the heartbreaking story of two lovely young people who fail to find happiness together because they're trapped in an adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks novel. Their romance leads to bittersweet loss that's so softened by the sweet characters that it feels like triumph.

Channing Tatum stars as John Tyree, a handsome Army Special Forces specialist home on two weeks' leave at the South Carolina shore. Amanda Seyfried plays Savannah, an ethereal beauty whose purse falls off a pier. John dives in and retrieves it, its from where the story begins.
John was raised by his father (Richard Jenkins), a quiet man who wears white gloves while admiring his coin collection, and cooks chicken every Saturday and lasagna every Sunday. Savannah meets him and casually observes to John that he is autistic.

John and Savannah get over his unhappiness, and he pledges that he'll be back at the end of 12 months so they can wed.
But then 9/11 happens, and like every man in his group, John re-enlists. And continues to re-enlist, until the movie's title hints at what he receives in the mail. Because Savannah is a true-blue heroine, her new love is of course a nice and decent man, someone who John can accept, so that we can smile sadly and not get all messy and depressed.

In this movie, war is a plot device. It loosens its grip on John only long enough to sporadically renew his romance, before claiming him again so that we finally consider Savannah's Dear John letter just good common sense. "Dear John letter" has been in constant use since World War II, and that the hero of this movie is inevitably destined to receive such a letter, is it a little precious of Sparks to name him "John".

But overall, its a Must watch for teens and young lovers. The music is great. Besides, being not a Big Success critically, commercially film is appreciated.

“   FB not just a "Social Networking"

Facebook , a social networking website for a common man with ordinary thinking but for a good observer it is not just a social networking but a lot more than that. For some opinion leader's it has become a professional platform to exaggerate their potential creatively. Facebook aka Fb is a virtual market which now a days not only used to connect for basic human life needs but it also has lifted upto an extreme level where people are using it for advertising , marketing , public relations , political drama , national integration etc in a strategic manner.

If we look at the advertising and marketing scenario of facebook , the fb fan pages are changing the trend of social media advertising. People are targeted intellectually by the admins of these facebook fan pages to arrange a heavy traffic on their respective pages . Let me tell you something interesting , One of my friend has a fb fan page named "Left waliteri , right walimeri" an entertainment genre . The page doesn't have anything relevant but still carrying more then 2.5 lakh likes which is simply amazing . The thing is how they manage to carry so many likes and what they do of these likes and their pages? After a long observation and experience i got to know the strategy these people follows .Initially , they setup a fan page and ask forcefully to get 100 likes on their page , after getting 100 likes they advertise their pages on fb which are known as sponsored ads. 100 likes are the minimum requirement to advertise any fan page on facebook. Content is the backbone of these kind of pages . They prepare creative trolls just to gain the attention of viewers . They use attention gaining photographs and other visuals with a creatively written text on them i.e "1 like = Respect ,1 Share = love "and many more types. With these types of techniques they manage to increase the reach of their pages while creating interest in mankind which on the other hand improves their followers list.

Finally ,when a page have more than 2 lakh likes one can use it for advertising purposes for others . They can charge some good bucks from clients to advertise their product at lower cost than an agency charge for social media advertising. But the foremost drawbacks of this types of strategies is the target audience. The target audience totally depends on interest factor who are following any page. So this thing should keep in mind while setting up any campaign on fb pages.
